One of the toughest challenges agents face with online leads is not having enough information before they pickup the phone, and uncertainty if the information provided is valid. Our latest feature available to all BoomTown users is here to solve this problem!

 

Introducing Lead Verification

Now all leads that register via the BoomTown website will be run through a verification process. This feature uses 3rd party data sources to first validate the phone number, reveal it’s type (mobile/landline/VOIP), and then verifies if the name provided in the form matches the data source.

When a match occurs a “Verified” status will be awarded to the lead. Look for the blue verification checkmark next to the lead’s name. In lead history additional data when available will be provided including…

  • Gender
  • Approx. Age
  • Address
  • Person/Business

Our goal is to give you as much information as possible to make that call, and work to qualify the lead.

Note: Only leads that register via the BoomTown website form will be run through verification. This excluded manually imported, and auto-imported leads.

What if the lead is not verified? 

Don’t give up! Remember verification just indicates a match has been made with available data. Do NOT let good leads slip through the cracks. Use the information available to choose your qualification method wisely. For example if bad phone status then try email. An unverified lead could simply be a fake name with an accurate phone number. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity!

Does this impact drip plans?

Yes, if we reveal a phone type to be landline we will update this status automatically, and prevent texts in bulk or drip steps from being fired. (text drip steps will be skipped and keep running).

Is this available on the NOW app?

Of course! Look for verification information on the Waiting on you cards and push notifications.

Can I filter my leads by Verified?

Yes, We’re also adding in an advanced lead filter so you’ll be able to quickly filter verified leads in your database. Look for the advanced filter to be released later today along with the verification feature.
